Cadence's first day of school finally arrived this morning. She started her day with her favorite meal - oatmeal and chocolate milk. Then she talked to grandma on the phone while she was deciding what to wear.
After telling her mother, "I'm going to hit you," while getting her hair done - and a quick trip to her bedroom until she could find a better way to talk - she looked like this:

Ashland was all ready too. She was headed to Mindi's house to play with Sage and Preston! She was excited (and did great!)
When I go to preschool. . .
there's so much to do.

I can put puzzles together. . .

I can cut and glue.

I can roll out the play dough, ready to make cookies, or even a birthday cake.

I can fill cups and empty them, dip and pour. . . and sometimes I make a real mess on the floor!

I mix colors like purple and orange and green. . . and paint the best picture that you've ever seen.

I can climb on the jungle gym out in the yard. . .

and I'm learning to write - it's not very hard!

I can build a tower, or a bridge or a plane. . . then take it apart and start over again.

I can be a pirate or go to the moon. . .

or march in a band and beat out a tune.

I can sit and look at a book with a friend, and . . .
when Mom comes to get me right at the end, she asks me to tell her about what I do. So try to remember it all. Can you?
