didn't have enough
girls
running around our house, so we added another. . .
Here's the story. . .
The girls asked for
glitter pens (Cadence) and a
special baby doll(Ashland)
from Santa.
It was just a little too easy,
so we thought we'd throw a little complication in there.
I know, let's get a DOG!
Ben has wanted to get a dog for a long time.
I, on the other hand, DIDN'T!!
I would have panic attacks thinking about how it would
complicate my already crazy life.
"Put the dog down!"
"We don't carry the dog by it's neck!"
"Dog, we poop outside!"
"Where is the dog?"
"Who ate my shoe!"
"We're leaving on vacation, what do we do with the dog?"
I could go on all day. I knew it would just give me one more "living thing" to be responsible for. . . and I just couldn't bear the thought, honestly.
So, Christmas comes around, and my girls ask for pens and a baby.
I don't know what happened next. . .
the Christmas fairy sprinkled magic dust in my ear,
I had a minor stroke,
fate and I crossed paths,
someone slipped some drugs into my crystal light. . .
we may never know.
But before we knew it,
Little hearts fell in love. . .
Everyone was introduced. . .
and there's no going back. Even Berklee likes her. . .
Our lives have changed. . . forever.
She is the perfect little lady.
The girls adore her.
We named her Kia. It's been a tradition in my family to name our animals after whatever form of transportation they were picked up in . Sessna - after my dad's Cessna, Sierra - after dad's truck. . . and now, Kia after our family van. Ahhhh.

An adorable dog to match an adorable family! I'm so ready for a little ball of fluff when Brownie is gone but Landon is set on having a big dog.
