As a kid, I remember trying to wear something green that was inconspicuous - hoping that someone would go for the bait and pinch me - giving me the opportunity to pinch them back - what was it? ten times?
How silly.
Well, St. Patty's Day has really changed. . .
Here's my St. Patrick's Day fun. . .
My friend Jenny and I spent time trying to come up with some great GREEN lunch for our girls. Here's what we came up with. . .
GREEN PEANUT BUTTER AND HONEY SANDWICHES
BROCCOLI
SALAD WITH GREEN RANCH
GREEN APPLES
and
and
GREEN MILK. . .
Admit it, YUMMY!!
Cadence even finished her ENTIRE plate - without outside encouragement.
(for those of you who don't know Cadence's eating patterns, THAT'S a St. Patty's Day miracle.)

After lunch, the girls decorated a clover cookie. (Thanks Shanti!)
And enjoyed every bite.
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

I am green with envy.
UNBELIEVABLE! All her food was gone? Really? I especially love the child asleep in the high chair in the background! Cute post!
Your posts look so much better with the different typing and colors and sizes and all that. How did you ever figure out how to change your settings?
Very clever. I was very stinky and did nothing. Not quite as big over here. Just another excuse to go to a pub...which I did not.
you are such a cute mom! what did i do for st. patrick's day? NOTHING. except pinch ben a couple of times. ;)
You're such a good mom, brooke. I'll admit...I had aspirations to do a big st. patty's day feast, then lazy got the best of me and I decided that at the tender age of two jack probably wouldn't appreciate my efforts. justified, right?
