Then and Now

While I was lying down with Berklee during her afternoon nap, I was reading back through our blog.  I am so disappointed about not keeping up with it during the last three years.  BUT, I was just released as the Primary President on Sunday - so, that opens up A LOT of free time for me.  I am excited about being able to focus more on my family instead of the entire ward family.  Don't misunderstand, I have shed my fair share of tears.  Trust me, I am not at all happy about the change.  I LOVE PRIMARY!!  I am in my element there.  It's comforting and warm and perfect to me. I will miss teaching.  I will REALLY miss the association with amazing people who taught me so much.  My counselors (all 4 of them) were beyond incredible.  But most of all, I will REALLY REALLY miss the KIDS!!  Anyway...blah, blah, blah... I won't go on.

So, I was reading back through my blog and saw the picture of our little family back in July of 2009.  So, I put these pictures together and smiled!

Isn't that amazing?  We've grown so much.  I love seeing it. The top picture was taken 4 July 2009.  The bottom was taken this year - 4 July 2012.  What a difference three years has made.  I am hoping to go back through the last three years and fill in the gaps.  It made me so sad seeing the time that has passed and the fewer and fewer posts as the years went by.  I am going to do this.  Yep, watch me blog...
