Grandpa Chad took Ashie for her first ride in his little plane a while back and I'm just getting around to posting.
Okay, I just looked at the date and I'm embarrassed. It was clear back on May 25th. Oopsie! Better late than never I always say.
Ashland wasn't sure she liked it at first. No, she, dare I say - HATED it.
(just between you and me, I'm not supposed to use that word. Have you ever noticed how vulgar it sounds coming out of a 4 year old mouth - as opposed to, say, my mouth. Well, Cadence and I are helping each other remember not to use that specific word. But since she can't read, I'll go ahead and take the liberty of using such STRONG vocabulary - if only to really paint the picture for you.)
So. . . she HATED it.
Screamed and cried for her daddy -
who was outside waving and smiling and taking pictures. It was awfully sad. But if you look close, I'm not sad - I thought it was really cute actually. Would I have left her because she didn't want to go?
Nope. Not an option.
Everyone goes on their first ride with grandpa - and
YOU WILL LIKE IT!!!
It was for her own good.
Cadence and Addie, on the other hand, have had the experience of the first ride - and now look at them. No fear - just pure childlike excitement - the kind that only a grandpa can create.
wild blue yonder.
She LOVED it!
Seeing the tiny cows and horses. Watching the little houses and snakelike rivers. Feeling her tummy drop when grandpa did a roller coaster - okay, not so much that, but it will come.
Here are a few picture of us waiting for our flight. She rode around with daddy on his bike.
Here's a little picture of our tiny drama princess. . . she's not a queen because her sister already has that role.
Look at those tears. Ohh Ashie - come here, I'll love on you.

How fun. I miss those days of flying with my dad over the farm and looking at how small the fields were. Glad your kids can experience how fun it is to fly.
Those are some HUMONGOUS tears that little lady is producing! I have a feeling Ella might be a little unsure of that experience herself, although Jackson would think it was fantastic!
She just doesn't know what she's missing! I will forever be grateful to your dad for flying me all the way to Utah to see my friends. How indulgent! But really, I still remember doing some zero gravity something that scared the snot right out of me!
What a fun experience!
