Santa did redeem himself in Ashie's eyes - he gave her this candy cane. If you look closely, you can see a big tear in her eye. That's not from her screaming on Santa's lap - that's because I took her candy cane away long enough to get the plastic off before she devoured it. BACK OFF, MOM!!!

They had cookies there for the kids to decorate. Cadence has always been a great cookie decorater. If it has frosting, she's the queen.

We had a fun evening with Santa. We're grateful he took the time out of his busy schedule to bring us a candy cane. What a guy!!

Don't worry Ashland. Haley's 5 and still hates Santa....candy and all!
hey Brooke! Your girls get cuter with every picture I see!
You can order the vinyl online at http://www.sayitonthewall.com/products/view/97/Glass_Block_Nativity-Vinyl_Only (but it looks like they won't take orders until after the new year), OR my mom got it from a lady in Star Valley--Amy Clifton? Clinton?? I'll ask her and get back with you. :)
Candy canes... yum! Santa is only fun from a distance some times... but its a sweet picture none the less! Looks like cadence loves those cookies!
I admire you for even trying to sit Ashland on Santa's lap. I didn't even try this year with Caleb. Looks like they had fun! Hope Ashland has a happy first birthday this Friday.
What a fun activity. It is crazy how most kids that age are quite frightened of Santa? What is it about the guy?
Holy cuteness Brooke! I just read your blog for the first time in about a month! You have been doing some fun stuff. Thanksgiving looked awesome, Ashland definitely likes to eat-do not get in her way, and thanks for the fun night Friday!
Hey - the vinyl is from Amy Simpson Clint. I think she might be your age? I am sorry I forgot to get a phone number, but she does live in star valley. ;)
