Boy vs. Girl

Ashland and her cousin Shelton (Blake's baby) don't get to see each other very often. We spent the weekend in Utah and here are some pictures of these cute cousins. They're just two weeks apart in age - but size is a whole other story.

Shelton, Granma and Ashie

Are we "big" enough for licorice?

Check out that boy's arms.

These pictures were taken in March 2008 - Who's bigger?
(I definitely think Ashland's hair gives her the edge!)

He's got you pinned, babe.

That's my girl.

In the beginning, size mattered.
Shelton was born 4 Jan 2008, weighing 7 lbs 4 oz and was 19.5 inches long.
Ashland was born 19 Dec 2007 weighing 8 lbs 7 oz and was 21 inches long.
Shelton was such a tiny little package - we didn't think he'd ever grow, but once he started, he hasn't stopped. It was so fun to be together this weekend and see how much these two babies have grown.

HOw fun to have cousins just the same age! Go Ashland! This way she can get him if he ever picks on her! (though I am sure that would never happen) They are so sweet together!

SO you ended up heading to Utah??? You are good. Glad you had a fun time and I love the pictures. With a tackle like that...I better tell Caleb to watch out. Ashland may appear small but she has some good muscles hidden!

Aren't we glad it's the boy that has the size? We don't have any girl football players in the family. It was a good weekend. Love all of you.
